Since 2006 Kevin Sharkey has been creating and manipulating sounds using a wide variety of equipment and techniques. Clocking in at around 28 minutes his new e.p. "Disdain" displays a beautiful collection of brittle textures and droning bliss. The field recordings utilized on the last two tracks create a harsh yet familiar landscape that invites the listener to sit down and let their ears bleed.
